Oboe and Hubei turquoise pendant
"Ritornello" means "little return" in Italian. It is a term used to describe the instrumental interlude between soloists in a Baroque opera or concerto. I chose "ritornello" because I am returning a little piece of a woodwind instrument to another life in the form of jewelry.
This pendant is made from a D flat key of a vintage oboe that met an unfortunate end and paired with a Hubei turquoise cabochon set in sterling silver. The chain is a snake style 18 inch long sterling silver chain.
