Oboe key and Cumpas turquoise pendant
"Ritornello" means "little return" in Italian. It is a term used to describe the instrumental interlude between soloists in a Baroque opera or concerto. I chose "ritornello" because I am returning a little piece of a woodwind instrument to another life in the form of jewelry.
This pendant uses a silver plated F resonance key from a vintage oboe that had seen better days. The stone is turquoise from the Cumpas (also known as Compass) mine in Mexico. The chain is 16 inches long. If you need a longer chain, please let me know, and I can switch it out.
