Clarinet Key and Gobi Desert Lavender pendant
"Ritornello" means "little return" in Italian. It is a term used to describe the instrumental interlude between soloists in a Baroque opera or concerto. I chose "ritornello" because I am returning a little piece of a woodwind instrument to another life in the form of jewelry.
This pendant is made from a key from a silver plated E11 that didn't survive marching season here in Texas (trust me, those were some gnarly cracks in the wood). The stone is rare Gobi Desert Lavender turquoise from Mongolia. The chain is silver plated snake-style 16 inch long with a 1 1/2 inch extender. If you would like a longer chain, let me know and I can switch it out.
