Clarinet register key pendant with Royston Ribbon turquoise
"Ritornello" means "little return" in Italian. It is a term used to describe the instrumental interlude between soloists in a Baroque opera or concerto. I chose "ritornello" because I am returning a little piece of a woodwind instrument to another life in the form of jewelry.
This pendant is from the top part of a register key from a Buffet E11 that cracked all to pieces after twelve years of high school marching band. The stone is Royston Ribbon from the Royston mining district in Nevada.
