Well, we survived the debut show for H. Karlsson Jewelry Design. Many thanks to the intrepid Miss Virginia for toughing it out under less than ideal weather conditions and hauling stuff around. April 22, though not rainy, was quite chilly, especially for Texas this time of year. Then there was the little matter of the wind. One artist's tent blew away during setup, and I was thankful that we had the tent weights and the tent spikes. Even so, we had to leave the back wall off just so the wind wouldn't blow us up to Lake Texoma. Apart from it being windy and cold, I did get a lot of positive feedback from the other artists as well as the attendees. I also saw a lot of cute puppies! Below is a booth shot from the show.
As you can see from the billowing tent walls in the picture, it was quite gusty!
My next show is this Saturday at Valley View Christian Church from 9am to 3pm. Since it's indoors, it's a perfect opportunity to shop for Mother's Day or graduation or just "treat yo' self."
Hope to see you there!
